RCVS is hosting a one day Masterclass in Social Enterprise on Wednesday 7th October 2009, 9.45am - 15.30pm. The event is suitable for anyone interested in social enterprise, business and community life including those working in Third Sector organisations, local authorities, chambers of commerce, public sector agencies and the private sector. World famous social entrepreneur Tim Smit, Chief Executive and co-founder of the Eden Project will reveal how jobs and prosperity were brought to rural Cornwall, his views on the future of business and why the world needs social enterprise. Tim will be joined by Graham Bell, Chief Executive of Kibble, one of Scotland’s oldest social enterprises, who will draw lessons for Scottish Business and civic life. 20 social enterprises drawn from across Scotland will be exhibiting.
