From national conferences and trade fairs to transnational workshops and charity balls, Indigo can plan, manage and organise your event from start to finish. With years of experience and numerous successfully managed events behind us, we know how to keep things running smoothly and deliver your required results.
We can provide as much, or as little, support and guidance as you need, from developing innovative event ideas to managing the PR side of things. We can also source the venue, arrange guest speakers and workshops, register delegates and manage your event budget. In short, everything that’s needed to ensure success.
We’re unique in having event management professionals and fundraising experts under one roof, which means, unlike most event management companies, we can provide a team with the skills to really develop your fundraising event and source sponsorship.
Where to now?
In June 2007, Indigo organised and managed Where to Now? An event designed to help people across Tayside who had been affected by redundancy. The event was hosted by Pace (Partnership Action towards Continuing Employment), a Scottish Executive initiative which ensures local public sector agencies deal with potential /proposed large-scale redundancies quickly and effectively. Around 850 people attended the two-day event and were able to gain advice and support on planning their next steps after redundancy. 68% of these attendees had either been made redundant or were currently at threat of redundancy.
S2S
April 2007 saw Perth Concert Hall play host to the second annual social enterprise fair – S2S.
Building on the success of the previous year’s inaugural event, this year’s trade fair saw over 60 exhibiting organisations take part, and a marquee was added to facilitate an increased number of workshops and speed networking sessions throughout the one-day event. Over 500 people from across Scotland attended the event, making the most of the opportunity to buy and sell at the trade fair, learn at the workshops and network with like-minded people.
The event was hosted by the Scottish Social Enterprise Coalition in association with Communities Scotland and The Royal Bank of Scotland, and was supported and managed by Indigo Project Solutions. Social Investment Scotland and Highlands and Islands Enterprise sponsored the event.
The main focus of S2S is the trade fair, where many exhibitors traded goods, with 92% reporting that they traded or developed strong leads at the event. Organisations such as The Bread Maker, COPE, The Tool Factory and Bits and Bobs all sold goods or services at their stands.
